The Flu is particularly bad this year!

Symptoms of the Flu can include, fever, cough sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, fatigue and sometimes vomiting and diarrhea (more common in kids than adults).

People with the Flu can infect others 1 day before getting sick to 5-7 days after.  The CDC recommends keeping your child home for at least 24 hours after a fever is gone.  A fever is defined as 100 degrees F or higher.  If your student is vomiting or have severe diarrhea they must also stay home 24 hours after their symptoms have resolved.
